Location, location, location! From Dublin to Dingle, Cork to Belfast.

Location is everything when visiting Ireland. There are several beautiful cities to visit including Dublin  (particularly the city centre), Cork, Belfast, Galway and Limerick.

Dublin City Centre is home to The Phoenix Park – the largest enclosed park in Western Europe. It has many items of interest, from the American Ambassador's residence to the zoo. It takes some effort to get around the park because it is about 7 miles in circumference.

Cork City is Ireland's third city (after Dublin and Belfast) and has always been an important seaport. It began on an island in the swampy estuary of the River Lee (the name Corcaigh means a marsh), and gradually climbed up the steep banks on either side. Today the river flows through Cork city in two main channels, so you may find yourself constantly crossing bridges.

The City of Dublin was established over 1,000 years ago. It started as a small Viking settlement and has evolved into one of the most vibrant capitals in the world. The city is rich in cultural heritage. There are many beautiful attractions in Dublin the beautifully illuminated Book of Kells dating from 800 AD, splendid Georgian architecture, magnificent medieval castles and fine cathedrals. Dublin is the place to be for those interested in History, Architecture or Art.

Belfast is a city bursting with life and energy. The home of the legendary Titanic has reinvented itself so successfully that it’s a Lonely Planet city on the rise and regularly wins other travel and media awards - it’s easy to see why!

Galway, one of the largest cities in Ireland, situated on the west coast of Ireland. A friendly University City offers music, festivals, horse racing, pubs, restaurants, shops, theatres and most of all Galway people. The atmosphere is that of a mediaeval city of culture.

Limerick City is one of the country's main tourist destinations. Tourist attractions in the city centre include King John's Castle (1212), St. Mary's Cathedral, Limerick (1168), Hunt Museum, several (seasonal) tours (Angela's Ashes walking tour of Limerick City, The historical walking tour of Limerick and Boat tours along the River Shannon), the University of Limerick, Georgian house and gardens, Treaty Stone, and more. Adare village and the Foynes Flying Boat Museum (all on the outskirts of the city) are also popular attractions. The Jim Kemmy Municipal Museum, also known as Limerick Museum, is to be found next to King John's Castle. It contains displays on Limerick's history and manufactures.

The only thing you need to visit all these beautiful cities is time.
